How better to while away your workday than by building a personal army of robots from paper pipes? Piperoids are currently invading the desktops of serious bot aficionados throughout Japan. The eight characters each have their own individual personalities — our favorite is Scissors Jim, who is a kind of robotic Edward Scissorhands. His online bio (at www.piperoid.jp) tells us that he was formerly a hairdresser on his home planet before building the hub for the Piperoid invasion of Earth.
