Pepsi's at it again

The beverage maker that brought you cucumber-flavored soda has a new cola concoction. Say aloha to Blue Hawaii! This syrupy sweet combination of lemon and pineapple will transport you straight to the sandy beaches of Honolulu — or send you into diabetic shock. Lemon and pineapple do make strange bedfellows, but at least Pepsi has moved away from the vegetable theme. Not to be outdone by last year’s neon green Pepsi Ice Cucumber, Blue Hawaii takes its tint from its namesake’s electric blue waters. While a cola revolution it ain’t, the 147-yen soda is palatable and high on the only-in-Japan kitsch scale, so try it before it’s gone. (Rachel Turner/Metropolis)

They released a blue pepsi in the U.S., but it was gone rather quickly, kinda like pepsi crystal.

Why would I poison myself with Pepsi? Why would anyone buy sodas, pepsi and coca cola? They are just water, sugar, artificial coloring and flavour, all detrimental to health. Why would one do that?

Buy pineapple or any other fruit or veggie and juice it your own, and you'll see the difference in taste and health benefits.

Would prefer "Hunters Gold" but that is not available here.

Pepsi still owes me 147 yen for that vile cucumber-flavored rubbish I tried last year. Took one sip and poured the rest down the drain. I'll stick to Coke, as they seem more concerned about preserving their brand equity, and less interested in foisting undrinkable concoctions on consumers.

One of my kids bought this down the local shops. Absolutely disgusting. Tastes like blue "Listerine" mouth wash.

Why would people poison themselves with this you ask? Maybe because some people like the taste.
