This looks good and much cheaper than the ones in cars. Since I only ride a bicycle these days, this will be fun to have.

but do they do English? Or other languages for that matter.

I think the developers are missing a trick as these kind of devices are becoming much more popular abroad and the Japanese firms have a much longer history in making these devices.

Mind you they are so complicated the average one comes with manuals that put the London phone book to shame! Please make a simplified version like they do for phones for the young and old.

The one that's built into my car is pretty easy to use. Some makers get it right and others make it needlessly complicated.

I hope it comes with an accessory so I can attach it to the handle bar of my bicycle. Is it rain proof?

most cell phones do gps. The iPhone 3G has a very good GPS down to about 3-10meters. There are add on $$ programs for it to act like a real GPS also.

=get a cell phone mount for that bike.

This 1-Seg (TV) GPS seems like a good deal + it's portable = watch TV anywhere, carry it, bike etc, use it for another car, group trip etc.

The real money is in the maps for these things.
