Sanyo introduces new waterproof camera

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of its digital video camera Xacti line, Sanyo will put on sale June 19 its new model DMX-WH1E. The model has the special feature of transferring videos and photo data to computers via wireless LAN. Nicknamed “Water Xacti,” the camera is 100% waterproof to the depth of 3 meters. Equipped with a 30X optical zoom, HD video recording is possible under water at the beach or swimming pool. The large-capacity lithium ion battery allows continuous video recording up to 200 minutes. 

Open price, approximately 55,000 yen. Limited sale of 10,000 models.
