The latest product in Shiseido’s luxury hair care Tsubaki lineup features natural essential oil that removes waste products accumulated in the scalp. The packaging has been changed from the conventional red and white to gold.
Tsubaki has been the leading luxury hair care product, but competitors have been regaining their market share since last spring. It is the first time in two and half years that a new product has been added to the lineup.
Named “Head Spa,” the product is an all in one shampoo-conditioner-treatment. Retail price expected to be between 400-1,200 yen.

By 'scalp cleanser' do they mean anti-dandruff? Or...what?

Vague,I thought all shampoo's did that.More a marketing ploy to gain market share.

For many years I have used a scalp sort of scratcher each time I hit the shower which is daily if not sometimes twice a say.
All I know is it feels good to scratch my scull each time. Only thing I have to do is make sure it is cleaned after.
This one might be even better, for who knows as most count on their soap or whatever.
