This gadget from Omron helps you keep an eye on your calorie consumption and plan your diet. After you set a target weight loss per month, the calorimeter calculates and displays the total daily calorie consumption required to achieve the goals which in turn can be measured by the amount of activities performed per day.
If you set your dieting goal, the measurement calculates necessary consuming calories a day and notifies if you achieve or not automatically. It adopts acceleration censor, so it calculates consuming calories from walking, jogging, cleaning and washing at home and any movements.

seems useful, good model, good functions, good price, by the way notification appears in multi-bilingual? Japanese only...sorry, not useful for me.

It's basically an overpriced portable calculator. You would still need to figure out the amount of calories you're consuming and allow for a lot of guessing on the caloriemeter's part.

This gadget is useless if you go into the supermarket or conbini and see ice cream.
