No more missing phone calls. Strapya and Tokyo Coil Engineering have come up with the perfect solution for those with a flat battery in the form of the world’s first solar-charged cell phone strap. Weighing in feather-light at 40g, it’s only an itsy bitsy 12.5 cm long but can store up to 40 minutes of call time once fully charged. The drawback is that even under perfect weather conditions, it takes six to 10 hours to charge, so it’s best to wear it dangling out of your pocket to soak up the maximum amount of rays.
