Sonic toothbrush

Sonic toothbrush

Philips Electronics Japan has added to its Sonicare line with a new sonic toothbrush for children. The Sonicare Kids brush cleans away plaque just as well as Sonicare for adults but comes in a size that is easy for little ones to use. The brushes are sold at many dental clinics for 12,800 yen.

Brilliant product. Gets my teeth shiny and clean.

I used one of the original Sonicare toothbrushes (before Philips bought them out) until it died. Loved it. But I didn't immediately replace it - I just started using a regular toothbrush again. And surprise - my dental condition went unchanged. No extra effort from the hygenist when I got my teeth cleaned, no problems at all. If there's no difference in the results, I can't see spending 12,800 yen on something that does the same job as the free toothbrush I get from from my dentist.

True Johnbecker, however, it takes me a lot less time brushing with my electric brush.

    JohnBecker,

You have stumbled upon why common sense is the natural enemy of marketing.

I had to undergo several periodontal operations before resorting to the SoniCare brush. Now my gums are healthy. SoniCare is meant to enhance the health of the gums as much as the teeth. I recommend it unreservedly!
