Sony’s new memory stick handycam, the HDR-TG1, which weighs about 300 grams, features up to 1,920 x 1,080-pixel full HD movie format as well as Exmore CMOS censor which is used for Sony’s digital SLR camera α700.     What if your TV doesn't have a HDMI connection? Are you restricted to standard definition video?

    I think that there are adapters, but obviously the definition of playback is limited to the TV you playback on.
