Tokyo covered in iPhone app

Proud owners of Apple’s iPhone might just get a kick out of the latest Tokyo-specific app from Enfour and Gmap. The two local firms have got together to create Find!TOKYO, an orthographically challenged gem of a mapping tool. The 600-yen application works offline (so is perfect for using on the subway) and contains Gmap’s pop-up maps along with photos and detailed area guides in English and Japanese. Throw in a directory of bars, cafes, hotels and plenty more, and it might be time to dump the paper altogether. Get it now on iTunes.  (J Mark Lytle/Metropolis)

Customer reviews on iTunes (Japan) rate this very poorly. Most say it isn't worth the 600 yen. Seven reviewers gave is 1 start while only one gave it 5 stars...

JT - maybe a review of the product would be better than a press release, in light of what knowitall has said.

Are we now going to have press releases and updates on iTunes software? Adverting from hell. How about a real article that critically reviews iTunes applications. That would be worth reading. Above is simply junk.
