  Certain named heads of state may very well be present when the final vote takes place for the 2016 Olympics next year, but you can bet that Japan will have a different leader than Yasuo Fukuda.

  I think the 2016 Olympics should go to Rio de Janeiro. Spread the wealth and put the Games in South America.

  It is too late. They should try for 2020, though. Tokyo will have to try again after its unsuccessful 2016 bid.

  It'll either be Chicago, Tokyo, or Rio. Madrid pretty much defaulted themselves from the Spanish b-ball team, Lewis Hamilton mockery, and their football fans. Plus they wouldn't want to have the Olympics across the shores after 4 years. I think the IOC is messing around with Madrid by placing them on the shortlist. Spain is going to spend millions of dollars and getting their people all hyped up for nothing.

  Tokyo held the games before. And the States held plenty of others. If Rio can show they can financially support these games then they would be a good bet.

  If softball and baseball are to be reintroduced to the Olympics in 2016, then it would have to be either Chicago or Tokyo, as they have the venues for those sports already in place, as well as the fan interest.
