Agree with Speed. The crooked, money-driven IOC is basically sending out the message that regimes can engage in State-sponsored doping programmes, over many years and several Olympics, and only the athletes that are unlucky to be caught are punished.

It's a farcical travesty that all Russians weren't banned. This mind-blowing level of state complicity should ensure Russia is banned for at least 10 years or so in order for them to clean themselves up. What a truly shocking country

Yep, the whole Russian squad should have been banned based on the comprehensive investigation done. But I guess even if a Russian athlete does win a medal at Rio, he or she will be under suspicion and the crowds may even boo them. The damage has been done and will take a long time before any trust is rebuilt.
