Falun Gong spiritual group, which is banned in China, still appear to be blocked.

Ofcourse how do they expect to have an access to something that has already been banned years ago?

Anyway, good news that human rights advocates will now have access to all their desired material and will change the world and make it a better place.

Somehow, along the way, I expect the bans and blocks to be back in place, as the hub-ub over this athlete and that nation winning gold medals starts up and crowds out other news, especially whose website is accessible and whose isn't...

Once the Olympic Games open, all the world leaders who snubbed them will regret doing that.

    Hello from Beijing!

There are 1000 words in Chinese where, if you use them, they will be detected by one of the tens of thousands of people who work as censors. 15% of the words are about sex, the other 85% are about politics, environment, human rights etc.

To summarise: China sucks. Please don't go there.

The press does NOT seem to feel this move by the Chinese Govt., was or has been sensible. Also many feel once the Games start they will still be blocked by the Chinese Govt's thinking & what the police or military carry out as so-called-safety.

After all the media/press only wanted to broadcast home information or things they noted about China &/or the Olympics. They were/are NOT trying to feed their throughts or views of Chinese back to the many Chinese Peasants & so cause unrest in the presnt Govt.
