Leftist? I thought it was pretty well balanced. The CND sign was used as that segment was the 1960s when protests were rife and the symbol also represented peace, since there was a little war going on in Vietnam. The lesbian kiss was to demonstrate how far UK attitudes progressed regarding homosexuality. The Unions and women's rights campaigns were historical landmarks, hardly left-wing rhetoric.

i'll trade places with you. i can't wait to get out of the west (nyc). worse infrastructure and higher crime rates. anyway, the london ceremony was ok. the lighting of the cauldron was very nice, but some portions of the ceremony was boring.
