& if she didn't go to college, she can be assaulted just walking down the street-u never know.

Darn right it doesn't. But most of these young athletes are single. Lots of testosterone. It's summertime, after their olympic run-it's party time. The vibes are there. Simple biology, something's gota give. The authorities have already created an atmosphere for casual sexual encounters. Period.
