Good luck Kitajima... I really like this guy; he's about 1 billion times less arrogant than the media that proclaim he already has the gold medal. In fact, aside from reading about Hansen in international media, it's the first time I've heard the other two swimmer's names at all; and they're not appearing in Japanese print!
ReaganLegend: There are many Americans on this board who strongly support our fellow countrymen and women, and love to hit the Japanese every chance we get. But, in the interest of fairness, adults from any country should give credit where credit is due, and Kosuke Kitajima deserves credit for being an Olympic champion once again.
pathat; The credit should be given by the Japanese. I am sure the victory will be played on tv for the next few months or so, while foreign champions are ignored,
That 100 m. relay race was amazing, with no less than three teams ahead of the world record. Wow! Congrats to Team USA. And a huge congratulations to Kitajima Kosuke. He really put his all into it and came out a champion yet again.

Should be a good race. The Norwegian has snuck under the Japanese radar and might win it. Hansen for bronze at best. Go team.

Hansen was a huge disappointment.
