Today I am glad to see that media are able to access the BBC’s Mandarin site, Wikipedia and various websites of NGOs from the main press center and the Olympic village. I believe this is unprecedented for this country.’’
So now they are getting praised for doing half of what they promised to do??
BBC was a biased and full of prejudices over China, it ha s ahidden motive of making chaos and spreading unreast with untrue or farbicating, exaggerating news report. It was look like a propagandas rather tahn news agency. It should be under monitored and no get away from viloating China's law !

Bad, bad BBC, yes, they should be punished to the full extent of (Chinese) law for not agreeing with something/anything the Chinese government says.
It is unfortunate but BBC has lost all its credibility and many refer to it as BushBlairCorp. Have noticed many such reports about Myanmar and Zimbabwe (interviewing injured people or some miseries) but not Iraq.
Well, same may not be the case in China but one is free to express his/her opinion.
Hurrah! for the BBC...the more the censorship is exposed and corrected, if possible with the Chinese Gummint, the better! This is a good thing, people. A slow process of shining the light into the darkness of the hidden parts of China.
All bashing BBC instead of China's isolation tactics should shut up and stand up for openness for the people of China. Oh the BBC is so bad and the reports are so biased, hey so what. Are the people of China so stupid they can not tell this by themselves, but have to be protected from it? If that is the case then we are experiencing the real problem with China and what not we should be dealing with ,but what the people of China should be demanding it to end. The suppression, the censorship and the ancient rule and teachings by their self empowered leaders is the subject that shows just how China is at fault, no one else. How come some just can not get it through their heads?
If the people of China had full access to all news and history then the people of China could judge the credibility of any report for themselves as being true or false. At least then they could as they should have a full view of things to make judgments for themselves instead of their minds being shaped by those that try and keep them as servants for the leaders needs and ambitions. China should have no restrictions at all and have full openness and access to everything the rest of us just take for granted for the past … all our life…. This just shows how backward China still is and many posting show how many people just can not face the real issues when it comes to China and the type leadership what should be done completely away with. China will never be seen as a country to trust if China cannot be seen as a normal modern society based on the people instead of some ideology shaped by the few who is only self empowered.
I believe China adores him because he has not made them obide to the promises made to join the worthless WTO and has let the US get over ran by Chinese produces while all along we have lost jobs to the influx of Chinese goods and the widening trade deficit. If I was CHina. I would love him, but I am not, I am American and see him as a jerk off.

do not shift the blame onto others when the problem lies directly with the CCP and their type rule

LIke i have said previously, BUsh should have sent a stern message he is unhappy with this situation.
His highly held ambitions would probably had positive results. The Chinese adore Bush for his diplomacy and huge knowledge of world affairs.
