Congratulations to the U.S. men in preventing a Brazilian volleyball sweep! At one point the Brazilian coach went ballistic when his team lost a point! Hee hee!

Volleyball is my favourite game and I want to congratulate the American team for winning. I did not expect them to win but I am happy for them because they deserved it completely! Volleyball is the game with the most handsome and intelligent men! It is a real game for the intelligent and although the win of the Americans comes as a surprise (smile) I congratulate them!!!!

Sarge, both the Americans and the brasilians deserved to win the gold medal. The final game was a real thrill, great exchanges and drama and I am happy for team USA, they really can play my favourite game!

Sarge, about intelligence, I just compared the volleyball guys to the football guys and then decided they are more intelligent and gentlemen.

I am really happy for the american team, they were great! They overcome the death in the family of their coach, it was very tragic what happened to the coach...

about the Russian Japanese movie you have to ask the Japanese film company who made it. They can help you...

Yes, this was a great victory of the Americans. After that tragic event in the coach's family just before the Olympics started for them. A gold medal to be proud of.

Congrats to the American men! It was a great win. I just wish they wouldn't wear so many tattoos. I have never seen so many volleyball men wearing so many tattoos. It got to the point where I thought I was watching an NBA game.

Neither have I. Must be a cult or craze. Maybe the wearers are trying to prove a point, but I don't see what.- - Whatever. Both teams played a dramatic, very good game. The suspense was often unbearable. Congrats to both the US and Brazil, the stars in this competition!

Japan got blown out - they ( the men ) failed to win one match in Beijing. At least the women won two matches and made it to the quarterfinals where they got blown out by the Brazilians.

What happened to Japan?

They might have lost at some point. Not really the kind of thing many Japanese viewers are ready to see or hear about. So it was all very hush hush.

Congratulations! The US definitely played a good game, and have scooped up a lot of golds in the last couple of days. They're still in second place, but have an amazing medal count and probably did better than all the other countries in the Games, all told. Well done, Americans.

volleyball players usually go for the clean image, so yes tattoos are tasteless. But thank goodness for USA it wasn't a beauty contest! Well done Brazil too, it seems like a long time since both reached Olympics finals.

I did not notice the tattoos because I was paying attention to the dramatic suspence on the playground. It was a very intelligent game and I am a little bit surprised that you will call the volleyball players dumb.
