Crickers! Good on the US for doing so well. Sounds like no one can catch up.

Nearly 10 points up, and there's only 4 disciplines - that means they averaged more than 2 points ahead per discipline, in a sport where thousandths of a point matter!
US actually had the Top 3 female overall gymnasts, but could only send the Top 2 to the overall finals - and the 3rd one that was left out was the defending Olympics gold medalist - she couldn't even defend her title because the only 2 gymnasts in the world better than her just happened to be her teammates!
