“To bring human rights issues to the International Criminal Court does not help improve a country’s human rights conditions,” Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying

OMG, o really ? Or you just dont like the idea of world knowing of crimes that North Koreans did .

Beijing denies the charge, saying it favors “constructive dialogue” and has a longstanding position against what it regards as interference in the internal affairs of sovereign nations

How can this be fixed internally when the problem lies in top leaders of that state ? And how to fix that problem in state with no democracy ? Actually, people that were hurt in North Korea are those who were classified as those who think differently than government .

If this accomplishes something, then maybe that should be a headline. Each turn of the screw has only made the North Koreans more bellicose. Kim Jong Un, just like his dad and granddad, will never be held accountable outside his own country. But the screws will keep turning even after everyone is shocked once again that Kim's response is to light off more bottle rockets and cherry bombs.

Anything to get tubby out of his ivory tower is welcomed by me!

The Kim clique has a lot more than bottle rockets and cherry bombs keeping tubby safe in his ivory tower. Most intelligence agencies have been aware for some time that DPRK bio-weapons laboratories have been working hard for years to reanimate apocalypse diseases like the Spanish influenza, vaccine resistant smallpox, antibiotic resistant bubonic plague, and several others. For just such a contingency, they could threaten to release them and precipitate an end of the world scenario if the regime was threatened. Holding the whole world hostage and extorting all of humanity would be easy for criminals like Kim and his cronies. Why should they care if their own country's population vanished in the process? They seem to be working towards that end anyway. China will do everything in its power to prevent any threat to the Kim junta. China has known for years exactly what these doomsday laboratories have been up to. Why would China provoke an infantile megalomaniac with the capability to kill 400 million of its citizens? The UN will never be able to bring the Kim mafia to justice.

Such as Tibet?

Anyways, China support North Korea for the obvious reason that it does not want a unified Korea on her border that is anywhere near friendly with the US.

And, so, until the US stops backing ROK, the peninsula will be divided, with the Northern half under the control of the yahoo Kim crime family.
