I think it's very appropriate that NK should have its own time zone.
They are out of step with the rest of the planet.

Japan could do with shifting their time back one hour to save energy and motivate the population.
Currently, sunrise in Tokyo on the summer solstice is 04:26 - an hour earlier than Frankfurt or New York, and 90 minutes earlier than Paris. The cities have their June 21 sunsets at 19:00, 21:38, 20:31 and 21:58 respectively.
How cool would it be for us all to have an extra hour of daylight in the evenings?

I wonder what would happen if Japan declared officially that she was adopting "Pyongyang time". Would the N. Koreans be flattered, or furious?
