Japan could do with shifting their time back one hour to save energy and motivate the population.

Currently, sunrise in Tokyo on the summer solstice is 04:26 - an hour earlier than Frankfurt or New York, and 90 minutes earlier than Paris. The cities have their June 21 sunsets at 19:00, 21:38, 20:31 and 21:58 respectively.

How cool would it be for us all to have an extra hour of daylight in the evenings?
