Seiji Ozawa conducts violoncellist Dai Miyata, left in front, with the Mito Chamber Orchestra at Suntory Hall in Tokyo, on Sunday. Ozawa, 76, was only able to conduct the musicians in the last half of Sunday’s concert due to his ailing health, organizers said.

He is such a charismatic and smart person... I really hope he is recovering and in full power soon. Also, that cello looks like a very well played old instrument - must be worth a fortune. It always makes me feel good seeing such old instruments being played in large scale concerts...

Seiji Ozawa is a living legend. One of the last great conductors still alive from the golden age of the 50s and 60s.
