Celebrity Akina Minami, 19, appears at a press conference for mobile carrier KDDI au’s new service “au BOX” on Thursday. The new service, which will start on Nov 1, provides music and video contents and Internet browsing through broadband Internet connection on TV sets without PCs for 315 yen per month. The service targets consumers in their teens through 30s, who are not familiar with PCs, according to the company.

those teens through 30s who are not yet familiar with PC's might want to spend some time before hand. I can't see how using a mobile phone or a tv add-on utility can be any easier then using MS or Mac.

And 315yen per month? Yeah right...that'll give ya about ten minutes if you're lucky and then as usual, KDDI will whack users with huge bills at the end of the month!
