Two men dressed as characters from “Gegege no Kitaro” represent Tottori Prefecture at the Tokyo International Anime Festival 2011 in Akihabara. The two-day festival was held Thursday and Friday in order to promote the dissemination of up-to-date anime business information inside and outside Japan.

I took my kids to this about 5 years ago, when Naruto was the theme for the event. We had a blast and bought a ton of souvenirs that we still have. I've still got my Uchiha t-shirt.

This looks like so much fun! I wish I could have attended it. I've always wanted to dress up in an anime costume. Maybe I'll find an anime convention when I visit Japan. YAY. I can't wait till next year.

This did look pretty fun. I've always wanted to attend an anime convention since I've been a huge fan of anime for ages now. I always thought it'd be so cool if someone could pull off a costume of Perfect Cell from Dragon Ball Z. Can any of you imagine how cool that costume would look?
