I heard there's a lot of ginger beers in Japan, but mostly hidden away, so most people aren't aware.

Read the caption. The band is Monkey Majik. If you reside in Japan you've probably heard a number of their hit songs countless times without realizing it, on TV shows, movie soundtracks, commercials, shopping malls, etc. I'm not a huge fan of them, and in fact only listen to them at all because Maynard (white dude on the right) is a close friend.
I'm not saying they're BAD at all... pretty poppy for my tastes; but my point is if you listen to what's being played in any given shop these days and hear some songs with English that sounds like actual native English and makes some sense... it's probably them.
