Wish the photo would show the object they're looking at.

If you are ever in Taiwan try to make time to visit the National Palace Museum. Some of the stuff is mind blowing - particularly the amazing miniature carvings that are so small you have to view through strong magnifying lenses.
Another thing, ever noticed the similarity between Japanese/ Taiwan/East Asia mode of traditional dress and pattern and that of NZ Maori?

Looks like their costumes are based on Taiwanese aboriginal attire?

If the girls are in fact indigenous Taiwanese, they would be of proto-Malay extract, and ancient Han Chinese artifacts from the mainland wouldn't have any relationship with their own culture or history.

Not having a go at you but why can't Taiwan be home to be both cultures? (Overlooking that the tribes of the original inhabitants, as everywhere, each have their own unique identity).
Kids don't discriminate unless they learn it from adults. (Who as adults, should know better)

Who else goes to places like this and don't know the difference between these objects and stuff your grandparents owned?
