oh yeah, i want to feel just like i`m squished on a train while in my bathing suit all wet. i am happy at home. no traffic, no crowds, just me and my family.

looks to me that the picture has been taken to make it look like one of those incredibly packed beaches that we have all seen photos off.

but it is quite obvious that there was something going on just in the background. the group of cameramen kind of give it away....

There seems to be a lady in a bikini waving at a bunch of men in long-sleeved shirts with video cameras. Incredible. Long-sleeved shirts? At the beach?

    Long-sleeved shirts? At the beach?

I wear long sleeves at the beach these days, long sleeve T-shirt and long sleeve rash guard T-shirt when swimming...family history of melanoma, a tan is not worth dying for.....

Wow, no one is really smiling, and they are kids. This place (Shirahama) is not supposed to be this crowded. If tourists are coming back, it’s a good news.

The kids aren't smiling because they are behaving and pretending to pay attention to whoever is speaking on the mic in the center.. and it probably isn't funny enough to make them smile. Although they could smile just because they are at the beach.. but that would be nuts.
