    Photo was taken using a Canon camera and a Tamron 90ml macro lens, using the camera's preset "Closeup" function

    I used a Canon Kiss 2 (which is apparently sold as a Rebel 450 outside Japan). I believe that this model has now been replaced by something newer.

    bees hornets etc all go into overdrive come fall to stock up for the winter so to speak, watch out thats when they are most agressive
