Three vegetable sommeliers pose at an event for the “Buy California Marketing” campaign held at Tokyo’s MLB Cafe. The Japanese media has coined the term ‘‘vegetable and fruit sommelier’’ for people who have expertise in such products and help consumers understand the intricacies of selection, storage, preparation and nutritional value.

God, I hate it when the Japanese misuse the words "sommelier" and "charisma." So annoying!

First off, by defition a 'sommelier' is by definition a wine professional. So a 'vegetable sommelier' is an impossibility unless you are discussing some sort of vegetable wine?? Only in Japan.

More annoying than the misuse of "sommelier" and "charisma" in my book. Stick a "the" on the front for the sake of it!
