The electronics fair kicked off Tuesday featuring cutting edge consumer electronics as well as energy-saving technologies for such products. A total of 804 companies and groups, of which 289 are from overseas, are exhibiting their products and technologies in 3,121 booths at the five-day event.

    That may be state of the art in the retail sector, but I have been exposed to state of the art used by US Agencies - they are several decades ahead of retail. The most fascinating equipment I have been exposed to, is the wireless transmissions that can affect/partial control of bodily/mental functions of people. Range seems limited, but current level of development shows tremendous strides in accessing human's 5 senses. I read about rudimentary progress about this during the Cold War (eg. Dr. Delgado at Yale University), but have made steady progress since. Almost complete control of people seems to be the goal.

    The technology shown is similar to what was seen in the movie, "Minority Report", starring Tom Cruise.
