A big planning!

Cool idea. Let's hope it gets used. I'd love to see one of those useless 'meetings' held there. Or an after-work drinking party. Ouch!

Not pictured: The 8 billion people you will have to bump shoulders with to even get your skates on the ice - akin to the one at Akasaka Blitz. No thanks!

Saw an ice rink like that in the mall next to the department store in Toyama-shi a year ago. Much more crowded than this Tokyo one.
But early days yet.

They should give a limited number of people a 5-10 minute time limit on the ice, before they have to get off and give another group a go. (5-10 mins on, 5-10 mins off) That would reduce overcrowding on the ice, and let people skate faster than snail's pace

Hope skaters won't be like skating on thin ice and everything goes well with the makeshift rink.

Just like the person in the picture, I do most of my skating on my ass too

If this gets filled up like most Tokyo venues, it will be hard to fall. The next skater's shoulders will keep you afloat.
