Classical music concert for babies

Classical music concert for babies

A father raises his son during a concert this week by Polish orchestra Sinfonia Varsovia at the classical music event “La Folle Journee au Japon 2008.” The session, titled “The Concert for nought to above,” welcomed babies and small children with full orchestra music.

From the preview image, all I could see was the stage area out of focus. I wanted to make a smart comment about how horrible the photo was but all I can do is say "Awwwwwww!!" now that I can see the entire photo. What a cutie.

Sinfonia Varsovia is a chamber orchestra. How exactly did they welcome babies and kids with 'full orchestra music'?

Shouldn't the baby be facing the other direction if the dad wanted him to see the orchestra? And what is the baby looking up at?

He is looking up at his mum who dropped him by accident from the balcony. Luckily this guy caught the baby!

I heard all songs are performed in "genki" B flat minor.

The kid has noticed the Varsovia Polish vodka shot bar upstairs in the circle seats.

    Smart kid.

I've been to a concert where the maestro actually stopped the orchestra to address a crying baby. He told the young mom to keep her kid quiet or have the audience sit and wait for silence.

And I suppose you're atypical, right? Just like everyone else. :-)

Interestung how people cast ridicule at a baby beign introduced to classical music......but whe nchildren are introduced to mind- and reality-altering video games, little to nothing is realyl said.
