Cameron Diaz, 36, and Ashton Kutcher, 30, meet the press Tuesday during a promotion for their new movie “What Happens in Vegas.” Diaz, who lived in Tokyo for three months when she was 16, is back for the 6th year in a row, while Kutcher, on his first trip with wife Demi Moore, said he had a good time in Kyoto except for a meal that was “a little bit frightening at a ryokan. The film opens in Japan Aug 16.

What's with the Japanese media's obsession with reporting people's age? In every article, they immediately report the person's age after their name. It's bizarre. I guess it falls in line with how Japanese people in general will ask your name and immediately ask your age afterwards.

Ping12, have you ever read People magazine? Or any news media outlet in other countries? It is normal for them to reveal a person's age, hardly unique to Japan. Anyways, I LOVED this movie, it was funny and touching at the same time. Definitely a great date movie, highly recommended.

Cameron Diaz, very nice dress, great fashion. Ashton has good body and great hairstyle. Great to see not balding 30-year old western man :) What is there on his lef wrist, looks as if he has cut his wrist or is it a lucky charm?

Hmmm.... according to Forbes, Diaz earned $50 million in 2007. Quite a feat for someone with just 12 brain cells.

Funny how almost every (other) day, there's a picture of a J-bird on here and no one makes a comment about her brain cell deficit. I'd be willing to bet that in brains/common sense, a Western actress would beat a J-talent/"actress" any day. (Could be a good variety/game show idea...)

And no, I'm not talking about Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan -- they're celebutards, not actreses.

(And let's not even compare earning power... the Japanese would lose every time).
