Dome delights

I think there's a bit of Christmas light overkill in this section these days. Can't we have more pictures of politicians in awkward poses?

Actually I prefer this lightup more than the blue light ups.

A clear sign of national decline is this desire for spectacle.

Who will be delighted by this meaningless display? I can't see any connection with the spirit of Christmas.

Now I'm catching myself abandoning to fantasy. Yes, the picture is very kaleidoscopic!

I don't know if I would be delighted, but I think I would quite enjoy it. For me, the spirit of Christmas is to take some time off to spend with family and friends, relaxing and enjoying life. Going to visit these lights with my family and/or a friend would definitely be enjoyable, so I would say that it fits in with my spirit of Christmas.
