whatever the story is.. by looking at the posters or trailers, it is a comedy for me..lol.. its just not Dragonball.

What the heck? Is this suppose to be Dragonball? Why do they always put westerners in the lead when the main characters should be oriental? They did the same thing to Speed Racer and look how that went.
I for one am not going to see this farce.

wow these actors are the uncanny twins of the anime, and by that I mean constipated dwarfs who are constantly fighting. Every time I ever watched that show it was about 20 minutes of watching squat little short rounds power up some boring power they had for the whole damn show and talk epic trash to each while waiting to land that final blow. So now hollywood has of course chosen Caucasian 30 somethings to play a young japanese boy...If there is a hell I imagine this movie will be added to a series of tortures along with tomb raider, and maria carrie crowning on in the background.

The Dragonball, Speed Racer, etc originally came from cartoon. Children may prefer it.

Yes, they were made from cartoons for children but it didn't stop Speed Racer from flopping. I doubt it will save this film. The poster I saw of Chatwin showed him looking like the Japanophiles you see on the Eigo programs on TV. Which is usually a skinny Caucasian with crazy hair pretending to be the over exaggerated foreigner.
Children of this generation are little more complex. They are more informed and have higher expectations when it comes to movies despite the topic. Children and adults will probably not like this film for the same reasons. It is just not believable. They should have added some real martial artists to balance it out. Like the "The Forbidden Kingdom".

dragon ball is from japan why dont the actor and actress is all from japan too, and i think bezita or vegeta is an actor from japan and burma from american actress
