Even if Konishikislims down, unfortunately he's already done too much damage in the past to his internal organs.

I think I heard from my Mrs that he had his stomach stapled or similar to help him lose those kgs that just wudnt go away, whatever it is looks like it working!

Anybody know where Akebono or Musashimaru call home these days, never hear of them, have they departed these isles?

  • neverknow2 at 11:24 PM JST - 23rd April

He looks great?? Really? Maybe I need glasses because he looks likes he will be in need of my tax money very shorlty when his obese body can no longer support it own weight, and hospitalisation is the only answer.

  • haitkayomccombs at 11:53 PM JST - 23rd April

Wow! I've never seen him that skinny! Good job Konishiki!

  • Asahak at 02:09 AM JST - 24th April

He is not obese any more, what are you talking about? By the way, skinny people also get sick for various reasons and need to go to hospitals. Do you think you will live forever because you are skinny? You will be in for quite a surprise.

Musashimaru is training young rikishi at Musashigawa Heya, I have seen him many times when I was in Tokyo for Sumo. He is still quite heavy.

Akebono was in K1 and made a lot of money a few years back, despite loosing every bout. I don`t know what is is doing today.

GW, Musashimaru is, as Asahak said, training young rikishi.. I almost literally ran into him at Fukuoka last November. He's no fatty, but a rather imposing guy.
