Au goes green

Au goes green

From left: Olympic marathon silver medalist Yuko Arimori, former major league baseball player Tsuyoshi Shinjo and model Yuri Ebihara, popularly known as “Ebi-chan,” pose for the press during a promotional event for mobile carrier KDDI au in Tokyo on Thursday. KDDI au has launched its “Green Road Project” through which au users can donate 1 yen for each 1 kilometer they walk or run, after downloading the company’s online service “au Smart Sports Run&Walk.” The money raised will be used to buy seeds of bitter gourd and morning glory to distribute for free at au shops as part of its greening project. After Shinjo started working out on a running machine during the event, Ebi-chan gushed: “Mr Shinjo is so cool and I like men who give it their all when they try something.”

Any comment would simply be superfluous. The asine way these three are dressed and are posing says it all.

Great idea - other people run so I can recklessly paint the town with bitter gourd!

1 yen off the keitai bill might be more of an incentive.

    "That dude is orange"

He's just got a nice tan.

For a Japanese model, Ebichan is not particularly skinny. I think she looks fine.

    "That dude is orange"

    I think he's copying a-rod's look.

Sarge -- I think you need to look up ravishing in the dictionary. Kawaii-sexy is not ravishing. Except in Japan of course, where men have the sexual maturity of 12 year-olds.

from wiki... She has been quoted as saying, "If someone doesn't find me cute, I want to know why, because then I'll work on it to get better at being cute".

hmm... well personally i would like to see some meat above the knees... not that it really matters to ebi chan or her adoring fans :)

herefornow - I looked up ravishing - the dictionary says, "See Ebi-chan."

Ebi-chans mouth and lips look like too much botox, and her toes are coming out of her shoes, where they were squeezed in, especially the left foot. In total it looks like the opposite of smart dressing.

Sarge -- you must have a Engrish dictionary -- where having skinny, knock-kneed legs is ravishing. But to each his own.

I think Shinjo is channeling the 1975 American TV program “The Man of Bronze,” starring Ron Ely as Doc Savage. Ebi-chan is looking tempuralicious!

her head is unproportional to body. Shinjo is quite cool.
