Gelato

Gelato

A gelato shop in Tokyo advertises its latest product, without paying too much attention to the spelling.

    Gelato is the greatest

Raisins I like. Lamb, which I don't eat anymore, is nice. Put the two together and personally, I'd prefer some rum.

I'm sure this will show up on engrish.com.

Lamb goes with rosemary not raisin. Gosh, sometimes I wonder how this country gets its wild ideas with the use of raisins i cuisine.

Is that a Heston Blumenthal creation? He is living proof that the only thing stranger than bad translations is Michelin-starred chefs.

NeoJamal - surely mint sauce goes better with lamb.

    Lamb Raisin

Bahhhh, they are just trying to fleece their customers by pulling the wool over their eyes to get em to buy some overpriced sweets.

What is lamb raisin? Is it a lamb that has been fed only with raisins? Has anyone tried it to explain how does this flavour taste?

Y'all never heard of roast lamb with rum raisin sauce? It's awesome good stuff - a traditional recipe. I'd eat it as an amuse-bouche gelato. Top with crispy fried brown sugared lamb fat bits; it's an Iron Chef's delight!

This is a great example of what a ridiculous idea katakana is. Either learn a new word right, or use a japanese word for it. Don't piss about with a new word until it's got japanese syllables in it, so that only Japanese people will understand it and everyone else in the world will laugh at you. It's effing futile and gets right on my wick. Burad-do Pitt-to and Ma-lon Burand? Do us a favour, piss off with it.

in protest I think you should only refer to Japan from now on as 'Nee-pon-neyooo' or 'Jiiiiiiiyapanuuuu'

The name of the store is "La Mer Riche", so blame the French, not the Japanese.

I don't know if it's been fed raisings, but rum is probably involved ;).

You are kidding, right? Does every store with a non-Japanese name mean that the owners are from the country from where the language originated? I don't think so...
