The 7.2-meter-tall robot ‘‘Giant Torayan’’ blows fire during a Roppongi Art Night event at Roppongi Hills Arena in Tokyo on Saturday. Japanese artist Kenji Yanobe created the aluminum-covered robot on the theme of survival following a nuclear war.

The figures on ground level look like his work Torayan from the Atom Suit Project. Appropriate picture considering all the talk about missles flying about in the news lately.

Flommytherobot is very impressed by the "Giant Torayan" robot. However, it looks like "Giant Torayan" needs to have a mechanism to handle too much Wasabi!
