Happy New Year!

Here's one realy cool wish for everyone: http://llerrah.com/newyearwishes.htm

I already went this morning to Hatsu Moude to our local shrine, because around 9 there'll be already long queue.

The dragon is said to be a ruler of the weather and represents the fury of the nature. May he protect Japan this year from natural disasters and give us nice weather all year long.

in an orderly manner

That's what I hate and admire most in Japan. Never seen anything like that, a nation gets so high simply by living in orderly manner. That's not me, but I admire it.

I wish Japan and to all a Happy New Year in my usual inordinate manner. :-D

2011 was a crap year.. endless protesting all over the world, dictators dieing, jailed, Steve Jobs dies, hope 2012 brings in a better prosperous year.

Happy New Year, all? What dragon is it this time around? (I mean, one cycle is 60 years, hence the importance of that age, but which element is it?). I suppose a simple Google will answer that.

Happy New Year to you all! 明けましておめでとうございます!Thank you to all on JT who I laughed, cried and fought with over 2011. Regardless of our differing opinions we were all in it together and you all made my life a little brighter. Wishing you all a fab (and maybe also at times a little contentious?!) 2012! xoxoxo

Happy New Year to everyone here on JT! Been quite the year on many levels and I look forward to 2012 sharing, learning, disagreeing, and occasionally bemused by the many here. Be safe Japan!

New Year is the best time to take the blessing of the God and we should introspect as well on this day. Many people do go to temples or churches to seek some guidance from the god.
