A nice photo...
The palette of color is appealing...
A great capture of a woman who appears to have a quiet, focused demeanor, conducive for a relaxed relationship with the falcon...

I enjoy all the hawks, kites etc that come from the Russian Far East each winter near the Tone-gawa & watching the chogenbo do their thing catching grasshoppers etc along the rice fields each winter, very cool!

The Munya Times
Powerful, a bird of less one kg of body weight and easily kills a 2 or 3 kg rabbit in two seconds. Wingspan app. 1 meter. Hunts in teamwork.

Harry potter looks cool with the bird.
Note: Down on the Shonan coast South of Tokyo here, they have signs posted about the Tonbi steeling your food. In English they write those birds down as Hawks. They are wrong. They are Kites. Shape of the tail is different. One is convex and the other concave.
