Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in Japan this week to promote his latest film, "Escape Plan, in which he stars with Sylvester Stallone. Schwarznegger, 66, attended the Japan premiere at Roppongi Hills on Tuesday night. He said he intends to keep making movies until the day he dies. Next year, he will be seen in three films, including the star-studded "Expendables 3," in which he again co-stars with Stallone. "Escape Plan" opens in Japan on Jan 10.

He's back and single. So I guess the escape Plan worked.

His acting is atrocious and yet i love some of his movies. The fact that he says "I'll be back" in almost every movie he has made since Terminator is so parodical that it is great.

Amazing man. So many talents. I think last time he was in Japan he visited as Governor of California.

This morning they had a funny interview on tv with Arnie. He talked about Stallone, their ages and Expendables. Arnie is 66 and Stallone is 67, so some people say they should be doing something else. Anyway, while doing a take for Expendables, Stallone jumps down from something and then jumps onto a ladder, pulling a muscle in his leg in the process. Stallone warned Arnie to do a stretch-up before his take in order to prevent the same mishap. However, Arnie didn't make it for his take, he pulled a muscle in his leg while stretching.

That's right he's back to starring and promoting his movies. Thought he might be back to get a piece of all that money raining down in Tokyo for the state of California that he helped to bankrupt.

The fact that he says "I'll be back" in almost every movie he has made since Terminator is so parodical that it is great.

In "The Last Action Hero", he even parodied that. When the kid tells him he's just a movie character and everything he does is predictable, he shoots back, "I'll be back. HA! I'll bet you didn't predict I was going to say THAT, huh?" The kid responds with, "Are you kidding? You ALWAYS say that in your movies!"

That's right he's back to starring and promoting his movies. Thought he might be back to get a piece of all that money raining down in Tokyo for the state of California that he helped to bankrupt.

Eh... perhaps a little research would have served you well? California was in financial straits before "Ahh-nuld" was elected to office. The state had encountered problems with power company price manipulation scandals (look up "ENRON" for more info) that bled huge amounts of state funds. Arnold's predecessor (Gov. Gray Davis) had the state already firmly in the red before Davis was recalled and Arnold installed as Governor. From Wiki:

On December 18, 2002, just over a month after being reelected, Davis announced that California would face a record budget deficit possibly as high as $35 billion, a forecast $13.7 billion higher than one a month earlier. The number was finally estimated to be $38.2 billion, more than all 49 other states' deficits combined.

A wrong pair of shoes for this suit. Yikes.

I love Arnold but 'Escape Plan' was not one of his best (neither Stallone's).

His comeback is in critical condition.
