Hudgens is probably saying "I thought they told us she looks like Beyonce"

Braniac, the real Beyonce and her sister met Ms. Watanabe on Waratte ii to omou last year. Beyonce thought she was funny as heck. She even danced a little with her.
I remember going back to the States and seeing the High School Musical fever, and wondering what happened. Can't believe it's so popular, but then again I can't believe the popularity of Hannah Montana either.

All the bounce with none of the Beyonce.

at least she's not making goose-like moves with her neck although that could be considered funny for some. the girl in pink doesn't blend in although shes smiling.

If those guys knew exactly what morning musume is they would probably puke.

and if Monimusu saw the trailer of HM3, it's virtually certain that they'll buy it, watch it and appear on Warrate Iitomo the following day and say this is the best American musical in the modern day. The 20 something females who watch the episode will buy it too. After watching the darn thing they'll say "Vanessa Ha-jenzu wa Kawaii" starting a designer baby fad, demanding genetic counselors to splice the genes of Irish, Native Americans, Fillipinos, Spanish and Chinese into their own genes to produce their ideal child. In most likelihood the child will look instead like Devon Aoki (ahhhh!).

The red pants they're wearing in the back are ridiculous. Too short to be pants, too long to be shorts. This style originated in LA, didn't it?

You guys are so mean. This film could put Japan on the Bollywood musical movie map.
Betzee at 11:38 PM JST - 29th January
Wherever they originated, they've gone mainstream in the US (often worn with a chain accessory).
It's not the length which gives older folk, particularly school administrators, coronaries but the low cut. When schools institute dress code regulations it just becomes a cat and mouse game for the kids.
This could be a Japanese Grease, eh?
