Oxfam activists pose as G-8 leaders wearing caricature masks at a poker table in a gambling club in Paris on Tuesday. Leaders from Britain, Canada, the U.S., France, Russia, Germany, Italy and Japan will meet at the G-8 Summit at the Deauville in France on Thursday and Friday. The sign reads: G8 Promises of Aid ...who’s bluffing?

I think President Obama is the 3rd from left, only one that seems to have a tan

Maria,
I think Medvedev is at the far left, so that means Harper is at the far right. Hint hint, maybe.

Here's something I do know about . Oxfam have not been able to draw down any money from the European Aid promised since the the last summit. Chief offenders Germany Italy France Britain . No ODA has left the ECB in over a year But the top executives are still paying themselves high salaries.

Keika1628:
... but the ECB has plenty of money to buy up ever more worthless Greek bonds. Political voodooh economics at its finest.

Protesters will always believe that government figureheads have nothing better to do. Ironically, neither do the protesters apparently.

The European Central Bank is buying these worthless Greek bonds in order to help the other European banks to get rid of them. It is more or less acting like a lifeguard in case Greece defaults.
