Global warming peeps, Australia has had it's hottest year ever recorded and the US is in a blizzard.

I don't want to be nasty but images like this are the reason that Japanese tend to be found slightly amusing when overseas.

Sometimes when you don't want to be nasty, maybe it's best not to say anything.

Calm down sourpuss. I'm an Aussie expat and I thought exactly the same thing. Anyway, there would've been far sillier attire worn by some of the sports nut locals so who cares?

Melbourne is a world class host for many major sporting events but if they can't move the tennis Open away from the hottest few weeks of the year they probably shouldn't have it anymore. Brisbane and Sydney would be more than capable alternatives.

I see that the woman is afraid to receive a tan and prefer to look like a ghost.

I dress like that when I'm cold.

At least she wasn't wearing the ironmonger's visor. That is completely creepy, along with the arm socks. Never seen any nation so blasted afraid of the slightest exposure to The Sun.
