Singer Kumi Koda, 26, and actor Shun Oguri, 25, show Sony Ericsson’s new mobile handset, the Walkman Phone Xmini, which can download KDDI au’s new high-quality music data through its new service, Chaku-uta Full Plus. The new download service provides music data in the AAC format (320Kbps), which is CD-quality sound. Koda will sing the theme song for Sony Ericsson’s TV commercial where Oguri appears. Chaku-uta Full Plus and the Walkman Phone will be released at the end of December.

Is there any product or cause here in Japan that does not feel required to use a celebrity to get attention? Does anyone really believe either of these folks actually uses a Sony Ericsson phone? And what the heck is that little white things she is holding, and, what does it have to do with this introduction? Is that AU copying the white dog from Softbank?

I've never understood why so many guys think Kumi Koda is hot. Take a look at some of her "before" pics out there. She never was much to look at, and even isn't now after all the work she's had done.
