why is it that when Japan wins a medal the majority of the time there is no referance of what countires won the other two. would of liked to know who won the Gold / Silver but it looks like ill have to go to a gaijin site to find that out. hey JT you should edit the last line "Russia won Gold, China won Silver" or is that off topic, or belittling Japans Bronze!?

I can honestly remember watching highlights of football games in Europe on Japanese TV involving Japanese players and not knowing what the final score of the game was or not showing the goals scored in that game. The score was sometimes quickly flashed up at the end ( sometimes not ) after watching 10-yard sidewards passes from Japanese players. I know many Japanese football fans who've said the same thing.

Kobe White Bar Owner: "Read it again mate."

Articles/descriptions are sometimes edited throughout the day. It did not necessarily have the ending before that it does now, although there is an article in the sports section that clearly spells out who won and got silver, in the headline as well. Still, wtf japan has a point, as does Jimizo, when it comes to media bias here. It exists everywhere, of course, but not at the expense of giving critical information like who actually won or scores. Watching sports on Japanese news stations is unbearable, although I will admit that over the years they have gotten better at showing events Japan does not have an athlete in, necessarily.

In any case, it's a nice picture of smiling ladies who have done their country proud, and despite being thumbed down for it earlier, I still wish them a heartfelt congrats and the best for the future. The Japan team has come quite a long way thanks to the return of the team's former coach.
