Love, if it makes you feel any better, I don't have one either, boo hoo hoo!

It's truely not about the Lucky Bag, but the swaps later and their stories -that makes these women happy. -You could fill a bag of junk up and swap it and your feeling of happiness and fulfillment would be the same.
-Men won't understand this, but you must listen to their stories with conviction (happiness is important)

Translation: I will take anything in trade for this pastel green sweater. Woman with white hat gets suckered in. Woman with pastel yellow sweater (another pastel ! -damn) tries to swap and semi-support other pastel seller.
Other Lucky Bag owners are shocked that their Lucky Bag is full of junk and that their trading day will be difficult.

I was sitting next to two dudes at Starbucks tonight. One guy started talking about what was in his lucky bag. He got a t-shirt and a watch. He referred to the watch as kawaii several times.

It was my first Lucky bag. I got a purse that costs about 4 times more than what I paid for the lucky bag. And on top of that a tiny mobile phone strap was included too. Lucky!!..:)

I bet you paid about 4 times for that lucky bag than what you would have paid for a perfectly good purse at DonQihote.

If Kuroki Meisa crawls out of my bag, then I'd feel lucky.

Looks to be a lot of harmless fun for the young ladies.

I can't say that for the men's wallets.

Question 1: Are these stores are making money on these lucky bags?
Question 2: If they are, why don't they do this all year?

I've heard that the lucky bags are just a way for these stores to get rid of stuff that doesn't sell...

Lucky bags are full of goods nobody wants to buy ususally. All these things will be discounted in the winter bargain sales.

I've always waited to do my shopping 3 weeks into January- after my payday and after all the sales, as everything leftover from them is chucked in the bargain bins. I usually stock up on my yearly supply of CD's (lots of 2ble compilations for around 500Yen each) with stuff I'd seen for twice the price (but claiming to be on sale) just a few weeks before. Now that's good rummaging!
