How about the 100+ other athletes that don't appear on Wheaties boxes either. It's the same everywhere no matter what country.

She should be on the front of everything. She is very pretty and has a genuine talent. Thats the sort of women young girls should look up to.

I wonder how the speed skating team feels...They only missed the gold by 0.02 seconds. I guess their silver isn't good enough for front cover publicity.

wow how can you be sour for that

Figure skating has always been the most popular sport of the winter Olympics. It's no surprise she is on the cover over other athletes. I'm sure Kim yu na is dominating Korean headlines over the Korean speed skaters.

I'll bet all the weekly magazines in Korea have Queen Yu-Na on their covers.

Also I bet that if the next best thing since the great Takahashi gets in the medals in the World Championships or Olympics she will be on the front cover of everything and so it should be. These are the people with real courage and fortitude. These are the people I look up to. These are the people the Japanese young should look up to. These people.

Seems like an awful lot of adoration- kinda throws cold water on all those who claim that athletes don't "win" the Silver but "lose" the Gold- Eh !

    Lots of Maogazines here.

True the figure skating is ahead of most other sports, especially like competition speed-skating. Though a Silver is pretty outstanding one has to admit.

Sure, she's proud of it now, but it was a different story on game day....
