That picture represents pretty much every reason I have for avoiding the beach on Marine Day.

I wonder how many of them actually caught any fish. I've been fishing three times in Japan. The first time I took a rod and a tackle box. The second time I took a rod, chair and a cooler box. The last time I only took a chair and a cooler box.

How many of these fishermen know which rivers run into Tokyo Bay and which catchment areas those rivers serve?

The "cooler box" was for a couple of beers ? ;)

Why would you go fishing with a crowd of others? Completely pointless.

What kind of fish are they trying to catch?

Yup, the "Great Outdoors" -- Japan style.

It seems that boring people anyway came down here to catch fish as they have no plan to go and they must be big surprised to see the crowd due to same reason.

Zichi: First time for Orion Draft or were you sampling some of the micro-brewery stuff, which is excellent. Helios 'Goya Dry' and Weizen recommended.

Fruit ones are most likely from OBC
